A historic sanctuary of peace and devotion.
Dating back to the 12th century, this sacred site boasts an 800-year-old legacy. Similar to the ‘Shila Murthi’ of Sri Channakeshavadeva of Belur, the idol of the deity is adorned with Shankha, Chakra, Gada, and Padma Hasta.
The temple, distinguished by Kusuri carving in the Hoysala style, stands as a testament to ancient artistry, captivating all who lay eyes on it. We hold firm in our belief that Shri Channakeshva, enshrined in Naginamane, showers his blessings upon all devotees.
Currently, the temple needs urgent reconstruction. Guided by Sri Sri Raghavesvarabharathi Mahaswami, we have commenced laying the foundation for the sanctum sanctorum. We appeal to devotees for their generous assistance.
