About Us

Dating back to the 12th century, this sacred site boasts an 800-year-old legacy. Similar to the ‘Shila Murthi’ of Sri Channakeshavadeva of Belur, the idol of the deity is adorned with Shankha, Chakra, Gada, and Padma Hasta.

The temple, distinguished by Kusuri carving in the Hoysala style, stands as a testament to ancient artistry, captivating all who lay eyes on it. We hold firm in our belief that Shri Channakeshva, enshrined in Naginamane, showers his blessings upon all devotees.

Currently, the temple, including the Horalaya and Garbhagriha, is in a state of disrepair and necessitates urgent reconstruction. Guided by Sri Sri Raghavesvarabharathi Mahaswami, the management board, in collaboration with devotees, has commenced laying the foundation for the sanctum sanctorum in a spacious area adjacent to the temple. A comprehensive blueprint for a well-equipped temple has been drafted, estimating a cost of approximately Rs 1 Crore. We appeal to devotees and organizations alike for their generous assistance and cooperation in this noble endeavour. You help for fund collection is really appreciated.

The Indian Hindu Sanatana culture was given to the world by sage sages, avatar men through their power of asceticism through divine knowledge through unlimited experience in Vedic mythology, divine faith, dedication, rituals are all created on scientific basis, even in today's technological and scientific age, scientists could not reject any thing. One subject after another expands as an object of study. We are the worshipers of Sanatana, who see and worship God in the tribulations of atoms, in the Panchabhutas, in animals, birds, and trees, and find the presence of God in both manifest and unmanifest forms.

They have been worshiping God in the form of house god, clan god, kshetra god, village god, region god in different forms of power from generation to generation. It is for the same reason that our lives have been built by the grace of Sri Channakesava, who is enthroned in Naginamane as the village deva of our Kudegodi. Due to the fact that the village temple which surrounds all of us has reached a dilapidated state, we all have made a determination to build a new temple for God under the guidance and condition of guruhiris, pundits, and the work is being started in accordance with the Shastra. I thought it was a great opportunity given by Lord Sri channakesava who is a lover of Tulsi, Megha Varna and Shubhanga to do His service to all His devotees.
